Wusal Berom Holds as over 500 Persons Gave Their Lives to Christ

Wusal Berom, an annual interdenominational service of the Berom Nation held today Sunday 10th November, 2019 at Vwei Kuru District Jos South LGA, Plateau State.

In his remark, the Chairman of Berom Language Translation Board (BLTB) the organizer of the Service, Da Rev. Davou D. Gyang said the essence of the service is bring all Berom together, seek the face of God and pray for the land as the year comes to an end.
He reiterated the need for greater unity among the people.

Gbong Gwom Jos, His Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba in his remark commended the people for their commitment to the peace and unity of the Berom Nation.
He admonished them to abstain from tendencies that are not pleasing to God.

In his remark, the immediate past Governor of Plateau State, Da Sen. Jonah David Jang applauded those who organized the event saying it has brought significant impact to Berom Nation. Sen. Jang said their is strength in the unity of the Berom nation.

President of Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO), Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop couldn’t hide his joy as he said greater achievements are underway in Berom Land. He used the opportunity to speak about the blueprint of BECO and their intention to rebuild the BECO Comprehensive High School through contribution by illustrious sons and daughters of Berom.

Guest Speaker at the event, Rev. Pam Chollom Gwong read from Nehemiah 1:1-end.
Rev. Pam urged the people to return to God, make their ways right and serve God diligently and wholeheartedly. He said the challenges confronting the Berom Nation are temptations which God is ready, able and willing to help them overcome if they return to him and live righteous lives. He said God is ready to hear their cry if they repent from their unpleasant ways and seek His face.

The event was well attended by traditional leaders, political leaders, top government functionaries of the Berom extraction, youths, women, elders, other illustrious sons and daughters of the Berom Nation.

During the event, over 500 persons, mostly women and youths gave their lives to Christ.

The event also featured song ministration. While Berom attires were being sold, some people were spotted enjoying local dishes.

Next Year’s Wusal Berom will be held on 11th November, 2019 as announced by BLTB, the organizing body.
