Plateau State Indigenes Raise Alarm, Frowns at Federal Government over Suit by Fulani Group Demanding Compensation for Violent attacks

Some patriotic indigenes of Plateau State have raised alarm over what they termed connivance and conspiracy on the part of the Federal Government with the Fulanis over the failure of the Federal Government and Attorney General of the Federation to appear in Court to defend the Suit instituted against them by the Fulanis for compensation from the damages they claimed were sustained during the violent attacks in Plateau State. The Patriotic Indigenes said it is not good that the Attorney General of the Federation didn’t appear or send representative, as witnesses called by the Fulanis who are Plaintiffs in the Suit were not cross examined because the Attorney General of the Federation refused to appear in Court and also failed to send a Counsel to appear in Court when the case came up at the Federal High Court, Jos Division in Suit No. FHC/J/CS/11/2016 on the 13th and 14th November, 2019.
