The Plateau State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Prof. Sonni Gwanle Tyoden has commended the President of Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO), Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop and the EXCO for the deliberate efforts in restructuring and renovating the BECO comprehensive school Kwi Riyom LGa into a Model School.

According to the Deputy Governor, such bold initiative would no doubt compliment on the efforts of the State Government in the educational sector.

Professor Tyoden described education as key to attaining development and therefore the efforts of BECO in this direction is highly commendable.

The Deputy Governor stated this earlier today in audience with the BECO EXCO in His office in Rayfield.

Earlier, the BECO President, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop said they were in his office to appreciate him for donating 1000 (one thousand) blocks to the “one block movement”.

He told the Deputy Governor that the fencing of the School has commenced in earnest.

The BECO President used the visit to appeal to the Deputy Governor to assist by looking into the non release of grants to the school which has contributed to the School’s challenges.
