HON AMOS GOMBI IS THE STATE ACTING CHAIRMAN PDP.

Special Adviser to the Plateau State PDP chairman Hon Chief DT Sango on media and communications Hon Emma Macham has said Hon Amos Gombi is the state new acting Chairman of the party after Chief DT Sango agreed to voluntarily resign from his position as state Chairman for the interest of peace in the state chapter.

Macham said Sango will resign once he received letters of apology from the 16persons who wrote petition against him and letter exenorating him of any wrong doing as advised by the National headquarters of PDP.

The Sen David Mark Committee did a very thorough job and couldn’t find both Sango and the state Deputy chairman guilty.

Macham said immediately we received this letters we will inform the general public about it and outline programs of event that will unfold leading to resignation and handover.

We have acknowledge the high level of hatred orchestrated by some persons against Chief DT Sango,the attacks on his personality and all the sentiments attached to the frivolous allegations from some sections against him.

Sango supporters wants to have a well organised church service in his honour and an enlarged meeting,he is expected to also address the intergrity group before his resignation, I can authoritatively confirm to you that this meetings will surely take place.

He was a former minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a respected elder stateman who can’t just leave without proper things been done.

The reports peddle of his handover was aim at misleading the general public,I think is high time journalist take time making findings before writing stories that may end up becaming lies.
