Establish Cottage industries across 17 LGAs in Plateau State, Reps Bagos tells Lalong

Member Representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos has call on Governor Simon Lalong to establish cottage industries in all the 17 Local Government Areas of the State.

He said the creation of the cottage industries will  reduce unemployment as well as reduce the high rate of crime in the society.

Bagos stated this on Tuesday at Government House Rayfield Jos while Speaking during the National Assembly Plateau Caucus visit of solidarity to Governor Simon Lalong on the recent looting and vandalism of warehouses, Government structures, properties including the House of the Former Speaker House of Representatives Abuja Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara.

The Lawmaker added that the creation of cottage industries will generate employment for the youth group which he represent in the National Assembly.

“Mr Governor I want to stand with you to condemn all those hoodlums who hijacked the ENDSARS protests to perpetrate criminality, we won’t accept that in Plateau State, because we represent the next generation”

“I however want to suggest to Mr Governor that the state should establish cottage industries in all the 17 Local Government Areas to create employment opportunities to our teaming youths who are on the street”.

He noted that genuine effort should be made as well as holistic approach be taken to address poverty and employment,

The Lawmaker pledge to stand with Governor Lalong on good governance and policies that would unite the state as well as empower the youths”,

“Mr Governor I want to assure you that I will stand with you to condemn the hoodlums that hijacked the ENDSARS protests, I will also supports good governance and policies of government that will empower the youths, but I will reject anti policies of government”.
