The Councillor Representing Lobiring Ward of Barkin Ladi Local Govt, Hon. Emmanuel Chollom JP today distributed food items provided by the Management Committee Chairman Barkin Ladi LGC to his immediate Ward as Palliative to cushion the adverse effect of the economic hardship being faced by the people.

Food items distributed by the Representative were 8 bags of maize, 8 bags of Rice, 8 bags of beans and 8 bags of Garri.

Hon. Emmanuel Chollom while delivering the items to his Constituents disclosed the items were what he was able to get for them. He said though the times are hard, he will continue to do his best to ensure what belongs to the people reaches them as at when due.

The honorable Councillor admonished the beneficiaries to always pray for leaders and to fervently pray for the pandemic to be over so that life can return to normalcy. He then said that the palliative is meant for the vulnerable and those who got should do well by extending it to others that have nothing so that God will bless them through such actions.

He appreciated the people for the level of compliance with the lockdown order and urged them to be law abiding citizens at all times.

Hon. Emmanuel charged the people to adhere strictly to all preventive measures advised by health Experts and government directives aimed at preventing the spread of the Virus.

The beneficiaries could not hide their joy while appreciating the Councillor for ensuring the food item got to them in good time. They also commended him for his humanitarian intervention to them when the need arises.

The people prayed God to lift the Councillor to greater heights so he can perform even better and impact more persons as well as the society.
