In fulfilling its core vision of “healing the World” AP Usman Foundation today sent forth first Batch comprising 36 Youths from Plateau State on scholarship to study various disciplines at Icon University of Management Science & Technology (I.U.M.S.T) Republic of Benin out of the 200 youths to benefit from the Scholarship.

Speaking at the event which held at the Foundation’s Office Near Bimma Hospital Raku Beleng Jos South LGA was well attended by clergies, traditional and political Leaders, Founder/President of AP Usman Foundation, Apostle Abel Peters Usman flanked by his Wife and parents who could not hide his joy said he is fulfilled and most satisfied being used by God to put smiles on the faces of the youths who were hopeless in their academic pursuits.

Apostle Abel Peters posited that the motive of the gesture was to assist and upgrade the less privileged to acquire higher education.
He said God has given him a heart of compassion towards people and appreciated his parents for mentoring and raising him in the ways of God.

He urged those present to imbibe godly spirit of giving and be genuinely generous without thinking of any reward in return. He said AP Usman Foundation is a manifestation of God’s will and the mandate is to bring God’s Kingdom into earthly system.

“I remember when I donated 23 cars to people to assist them improve their livelihood, my father who is seated here told me I am generously mad” he said.

He said he wants to live all the days of his life practically impacting humanity and disclosed that 200 youths will be on Scholarship to study abroad. He charged the beneficiaries to take their academics, moral and spiritual lives seriously.

Pastor Margaret Inusa in her remarks lauded the Philanthropist for the humanitarian gesture urging the beneficiaries to be good Ambassadors as well as not to disappoint the assistance offered them.

Others who spoke commended the philanthropic gesture of Apostle Abel Peters and urged the beneficiaries to make Plateau State proud and discard tendencies that will not make them succeed in life.

An Official of Icon University, Mr. Bala Bamaiyi lauded Apostle Abel Peters Usman for his commitment towards impacting lives and transforming the society which led to his honorary Doctorate Award from the Institution. He said the Students are in safe hands and will be properly taken care of.

Some beneficiaries Henry Peter (International Relations Student) Simi Bulus Pam (Biochemistry Student) and Philip Dung Gyang (International Relations Student) who spoke appreciated AP Usman Foundation for wiping their tears and assisting them to develop themselves.
The commended Apostle Abel Peters for identifying with them and investing in their future. They prayed God to open greater doors so he can reach out to more people.

AP Usman Foundation has carried out Medical Outreach, skill acquisition, organized financial education trainings, constructed boreholes, graded roads, etc across the State.
