ViewPointNigeria Foundation commences donation of educational materials

Seeing the desperate state of education in Plateau State, ViewPointNigeria Foundation has commenced an intervention programme in the educational sector.

Starting with the donation of books, the Foundation will be working on several fronts to improve the learning experience and education outcome of primary and secondary schools, by providing learning aides, books, desks, teacher provision etc.

Starting at Abwor Dyis village in Pankshin LGA on 6th June 2018, the foundation distributed learning materials and education aides to students of Ekan Primary School, RCM primary School, GSS Abwor Dyis, GSS Jo’on etc. Other villages in Pankshin South, Pankshin North, Kanke, Mangu, Kanam and Bokkos will have materials distributed to them in the coming weeks/months.

ViewPointNigeria, is already working on partnership with international organisations to expand this intervention into a much bigger and sustainable framework.

The donations are being made under the auspice of the “Book A Child” project of “ViewPointNigeria Foundation” and “Plateau Exchange”.
