Senator Istifanus Dung Gyang, Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial district at the National Assembly has expressed satisfaction with the quality of his Constituency ongoing Road construction project in Gyel District of Jos South Local Government of Plateau State.

Gyang while on the inspection of construction work at DB Zang road in the heart of Gyel district in Jos South LGA at the weekend commended the Managing Director of the Construction Engr. John Dalyop Samuel for the quality of work done so far.

“I want to commend JODALSAM Global Limited Company for the quality of road construction done so far and for working hard to ensure that the project is to be delivered on time”.

The road construction started at the abandoned DB Zang road going through the Palace of the Gwom Rwei of Jos-South His Royal Highness  Da Dr. Nga Dangyang linking the Gyel communities.

Senator Gyang who is also the Deputy Chairman Senate Committee on Defense assured his constituents that under the 2021 budget, he intends to expand and enlarge the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of Plateau North Senatorial District.

According to him, he was going to woo more federal projects that have direct impact on the lives of the people of his Constituency.

Gyang added that he is working round the clock to add value to the lives and well being of the people of Plateau North.

The DB Zang road is one out of several Constituency (ZIP) Projects of Senator Gyang under the 2020 influenced federal budget to Plateau North Senatorial district in Plateau state.

The construction of the road was awarded to Plateau State based indigenous construction firm.

According Senator Gyang, aside being a major democracy dividend to the people of Jos South and Gyel community in particular, the road according to him also serves other tripple purposes.

“First, it is befitting in marking the 60th anniversary of Jos South monarch, Dagwom Rwey Da Nga Dangyang on the throne of Dagwom Gyel.

He added the road construction at Gyel district was also in memory of the late elder statesman and Dalo Berom, Political leader and renowned Business entrepreneur of Plateau State Dalo D. B. Zang that the DB Zang road was named after him .

“Thirdly, the ongoing road construction work on DB Zang road in Gyel district of Jos South LGA is to honour an elder of reckoning in Plateau North and Berom land, Da Choji Zang by extending the road to his residence.”

“In 2021, Jos-South, Bassa and Jos-East LGAs will see us visibly because we will be visiting Vom, Du, Kuru, Zawan, Bassa and Jos-East with major interventions. I want to assure you that, in these three Local Government Areas, we will not mention the projects, because we believe in completion before publication. We want result!”, he assured.

The stakeholders and people of Gyel who could not hide their excitement and gratitude on the road project, Commended Senator Gyang for living up to his campaign promises to the people of his Constituency.

Senator Gyang used the ocassion to pay a courtesy visit on Jos South Monarch, Da Nga Dangyang, The Dagwom Rwey of Jos South.

Responding, the Da Gwom Rwei of Jos-South, Da Ngah Dagyang, thanked the Senator for the intervention on Gyel road that has long been abandoned and called on people of his constituency to support the Senator with constructive advices that would make him succeed and shun politics of character assassination.
