Rt. HON GEORGE EDWARDS DAIKA PAYS CONDOLENCE VISITS TO THE FAMILIES OF THE REKNA OF BASHAR AND LATE COLONEL D.C BAKO IN WASE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly and the PDP Senatorial Candidate for the Southern Zone Senatorial bye elections, Rt. Hon George Daika was in Wase Local Government Area to commiserate with the family of the Rekna of Bashar Alhaji Adamu Idris who lost his wife over the weekend. The former Speaker and Senatorial Candidate while at the palace of the Rekna of Bashar described the death of late Hajiya Ramatu Idris as a colossal lost not to Bashir district alone but to the state at large and prayed for Allah to forgive her sins and grant her Aljanat Firdausi. The Rekna of Bashar appreciated the former Speaker and described him as a man of honour, dignity and wished him well in his political endeavours.

The former Speaker and Senatorial Candidate, proceeded to the residence of late Colonel D.C Bako in Gudus area of Bashar who was killed recently while defending the Nation against insurgents in Maiduguri, he described late Col. Bako as a National hero, patriot and one of the finest Nigerian soldiers he knows adding that, he shall continue to be remembered. The PDP candidate then called on Wase Local Government Council to immortalise late Col. Bako based on the supreme price he paid for his mother land.

He prayed for Allah to comfort the immediate family, friends, Wase Local Government and Plateau State in general.

He was accompanied by some eminent personalities like
Hon. Dayyabu Dauda, Mallam Idi Waziri,
Alh. Salihu Nyalun, Hon Salihu Hamman, PDP Chairman Wase LGA, and Alh Bala Mangu b the State Ex-officio of PDP among others.
