Rep. Simon Mwadkwon Visits Berom Compound, Donates N500,000 to BECO, Lauds it Developmental Strides

The Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency Plateau State at the National Assembly, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon, Ph.D today took a tour to Lala Berom (Berom Compound) at Jos Museum, Plateau State to have a feel of the newly built site by the Berom Educational & Cultural Organisation (BECO).

Dr. Simon Mwadkwon commended the work being done on the Berom Compound and appreciated BECO for their giant strides toward the growth and development of Berom Nation.

The Federal Lawmaker said he is impressed with the project and what the BECO Executives are doing for the good of Berom Nation.

Dr. Simon Mwadkwon described the BECO Executives as comprising persons of high moral standing, outstanding reputation, proven integrity and goodwill who have attracted rapid development and transformation within their one year in Office.

Dr. Mwadkwon said the Berom Compound has greatly showcased the rich culture and tradition of the Berom Nation.

The Lawmaker instantly donated the sum of N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only) to BECO to put the place in good shape.

He said he had intention to build the Lala Berom in the past but was misunderstood by some who felt he was trying to score a cheap political point.

Rep. Mwadkwon said he will follow the progress of the project and contribute more in the future when the need arises.

He promised to give greater attention and support to programmes and activities that will prosper the Berom Nation saying he has great plans for Berom Land.

The Federal Legislator pledged to assist in developing the BECO Comprehensive High School Kwi. He said he will ensure his legislative engagements yield greater results to the people and the society.

Worldwide President of Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO), Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop who took the Federal Lawmaker and his entourage around lauded them for the auspicious visit.

Da Dudu appreciated the Federal Lawmaker for always standing by the people in their darkest moments and said his contribution will go a long way in assisting the group.

Da Dudu said the presence of the Lawmaker who is the first is a morale booster to BECO Executives and Berom Nation at large. He enumerated some of the developmental projects ongoing especially BECO Comprehensive High School Kwi to the member.
Da Dudu prayed God to continue to guide and bless the Lawmaker with what is needed to perform credibly well saying they are proud of his impacts.
