Plateau First Class Traditional Ruler, Constituents, others Pass a vote of Confidence on Bagos

First Class Traditional Ruler Agwom Izere of Izere Nation of Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State His Royal Highness Rev. Dr. Isaac Azi Wakili, Jos East stakeholders including youth and women have passed a vote of confidence on Member Representing Jos South and Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos for his outstanding performance as a first timer in the National Assembly.

The Traditional Ruler stated this while commissioning a Block of classrooms project completed with surrounding solar lightening in Primary School, Gazara Jos East LGA, which is a Constituency project attracted by Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos and handed over to the Community. 

        

The Paramount Ruler decribed the lawmaker as a passionate representative who has remained committed to his electioneering promises of providing intervention in the education sector.

“I want to appreciate you Hon. Bagos and May God bless you as a first timer for this good representation, iam in my old age now and this is the first development in Gazara village that iam witnessing and also commissioning and I want to affirmed that your doing very well and we have confidence on you”.

The Royal Father also described Bagos as Unifying pillar for Politicians in Jos East, saying for both PDP and APC Stakeholders to attend the commissioning is an indication that he is a true representative of the people.

“If all Politicians will exhibit this kind of love for one another then there won’t be fighting anymore, let there be no permanent enemy in Politics, and I urged you all to unite for good governance to the people, your in PDP, but the Deputy Chairman of Jos East is here who is from APC, the Chief of staff to the Speaker and other APC members are all here and iam so happy with this kind of love, now I commission and dedicate this beautiful block of classrooms in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit amen”.

Earlier the District Head of Shere West Adagwom John Haruna expressed happiness and joy with the National Assembly Lawmaker and bestowed on him the Chieftaincy  titled of “Talban Gazara”.

Haruna said the titled is an appreciation to Hon. Bagos for his show of love to the Gazara Community.

Also the Youth Leader of the Gazara Community Mr Luka Nyam Azi onbehalf of the entire youths donated a gift of goat to the lawmaker for always standing by the Izere nation.

He said the community never had it this good prior to the intervention of the lawmaker, saying Gazara had only community building in the school without any government presence since the school was established.

“We are presenting this gift of goat as sign of appreciation to you for the good gesture you have shown us in Gazara Community, iam an APC member, but because of your good representation in the National Assembly and for bringing development to our community we will continue to support you”.

In their separate remarks during the Commissiong of the classrooms block, Plateau State Speaker Rt. Hon. Ayuba Abok who was represented  by the Chief of staff, Hon. Agwom Ajiji and the Deputy Chairman Jos East LGA, Hon Simon Izang and other stakeholders noted that the lawmaker has done well in adhering to the cardinal principle of effective representation by attracting development to the community.

Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos while Speaking during the event promise that he will never betray the mandate given to him to represent Jos South and Jos East Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.

“You will never regret the mandate given to us to represent you people in the National Assembly and I promise that
all the districts will have a project at least, already we have provided scholarship to students, provided boreholes, Medical outreaches, Youth and women empowerment and other social amenities in Jos South and Jos East and we will continue, I also want to assure you that we will do our best for the establishment of Federal Institution in Jos East, you all know the effort on Zandi Federal Polytechnic hope is not lost”.

Hon. Bagos also held a Town Hall meeting in Angware and Maijuju all in Jos East  for an interactive Session with his constituents where he presented his achievement in office as well as listen to their needs for further legislative progress.

The lawmaker disclose to the constituents of his plans to push through the ecological funds for the construction rural roads which will be considered for Jos East LGA.

Most of the constituents during the town Hall meeting including stakeholders irrespective of religion and Political parties from various districts that made of Jos East Local Government commended the effort of the lawmaker as a first timer and urged him to lobby more on provision of portable drinking water, Clinics, Youth and women empowerment as well as construction of access roads which has been a challenge to the constituents.
