Patients at the Jos University Teaching Hospital have benefited from the benevolence of SWITCH Foundation as the world celebrated world cancer day.

Cancer patients(breast, cervical, prostrate, bone e.t c ) receiving treatment at JUTH, cancer survivors and other patients( prediatics, male medicals, female wards and surgical wards also felt the impact of wife of the Plateau State Governor and Founder SWITCH Foundation, Her Excellency Mrs Regina Lalong as she gave them financial support, beverages and hand sanitizers.
The aim is to assist cancer patients with medication as they undergo treatment.
ReginaLalong, represented by zonal Coordinator SWITCH Foundation, Zainab Tsok said, the plight of people living with cancer is among the priority areas of the Foundation adding that the foundation will continue to collaborate with relevant agencies through sensitization inorder to save millions of lives from preventable deaths caused by cancer.
Annually, Her Excellency, Mrs Regina Lalong has come to the aid of women bedeviled with breast or cervical cancer with cash donations to settle thier hospital bills and cushion the pain in their medication.
Regina Lalong also gave a cash donation to the Oncology unit of JUTH to cushion the challenges of the unit to provide patients with succour in service delivery.
The 2021 world cancer day has as theme; “I am and I will”.
