Langtang South Chairman, Hon. Rims Registers over 300 candidates for JAMB

Executive chairman of Langtang South local government of Plateau state Hon Rims Nimchak, yesterday started the registration of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to students in his council.

Our correspondent reports that the council boss registered 300 candidates, 20 each from the fifteen electoral wards of Langtang South.

Rims made this known while speaking with our correspondent in Mabudi .

He said the gesture was part of his commitment to educational development in his council .

“My commitment toward education has been the propeller driving most of our programmes in my local government .”

“As we know that education is the bedrock of any nation, and for us to get rid of social vices and ills in our society, we must train our children,” he said.

He further vowed to improve the standard of education in his local government .

“I will continue to do more with few resources for the benefits of my People inorder to make history.*

I will make Langtang South great again

The LGA boss further commended the Simon Lalong led administration for its plans to boost education in the state.

One of the beneficiaries, Nanjul Bitrus expressed gratitude to the local government boss , saying the gesture would impacted the lives of people in Langtang South especially the less privileged.

“This is a privilege to us as students because it lessens the burden on our parents. I will advise others to make use of this opportunity judiciously,” he said.

Also, Temya Lanks another beneficiary, appreciated Rims for giving her the opportunity to get a free JAMB form.

“This has really helped parents who could not afford to buy the form,” she said.
