Lalong is a Pretender to the throne :EZHEKOME

All parties at the Governorship Election Tribunal of the 2019 Election in Plateau state had adopted their final written addresses and as well as replies on points of law.

Recall that the Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party,Senator Jeremiah Useini approached the Tribunal on the outcome of the 2019 plateau Huber election. The first respondents through her lead counsel, Clement Omwenor by the way of adumbrations filled their final written address and filled same on 9-8-2019 and adopt same as its final address and arguments on the petitions.”our defence against this petition is found on page three of our address. The evidence by PW 71,we rely on it ,because he is a staff from first respondents, who put his evidence in chief and answers in examination put clearly that the 2019 general election in Plateau state was conducted in substantial compliance of Electoral Act and the entire manual of the election.”
The Second Respondents Lead Counsel,L.O Fagbemi SAN,filled her written address on the 3-8-2019. “I adopt and rely on these processes. Very cogent reasons are required to upturned the verdict of an Electoral body. And in this respect, The Governorship election of Plateau state, the petitioners failed to to proved any of the relief being sought.

According to Fagbemi,742 polling units,69 wards in 9 local governments,in which the petitioners complain of over voting,71 witnesses were called by the petitioners and they all performed abysmally low. May I submit that PW 2 to 70 their evidence should not be giving any recognition. He learned silk went further and cited the case of supreme court between Ogumeri and Nyako. My Lordships should discontinuance all these especially PW 12,15,46,49,50,52,53,56,58,59,60,61,63 up to 71,these witnesses were not listed in the list of witnesses. The third defendants through her counsel, chief Garba Pwul SAN by drawing the attention of the Tribunal on the preliminary objections, challenging the competency of the entire petition. We also challenged the admissibility of some documents. Our final written address was filled on the 8-8-2019 here by adopts it against this petition. The senior learned counsel also submit further,we associates ourselves with the the learned counsels to the first and second respondents. The very first issue of the petition is the qualification of the second respondent. We argued that,by all standards, the second respondent is qualified as testified by PW1 who is INEC head of logistics and operations. Mr Pwul further argued that,in the case of Khakaki Against PDP 2014 paragraph 35,page 7 weekly law report,I want my lords to dismiss the petition on this grounds.
secondly, they also tried to build their case on over voting. Section 53 of the electoral Act sub section 2 was very clear on over voting.
According to him,no voter register was displayed before my lords to prove over voting,by the order of the court of Appeal, the record of 21 witnesses is not available in the court and it should be expunged, also PW 1 and 71 has nothing to do with polling units,in line with the gap involved, even if my lords will rely on these 48 polling units compared to 742 polling units involved cannot give the petitioners victory. Therefore, the result of the Governorship election should remain as it is and the petition be dismissed. The sanctity of the voice of the Plateau citizens should be respected.
Counsel to the petitioners, chief Mike Ezhekome SAN,made preliminary statements, the electoral processes must be respected,so that the votes of the electorates will be counted.
Governor Lalong is a pretender to the throne,he was not truly elected. The rightful owner to the throne is General Jeremiah Useini. He stated that, their petition dated 13-4-2019 and filled the same date and our final written address is dated and filled on 16-8-2019.we adopts theses processes and urge my lords to do the needful.
