FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISSION TO ENSURE FAIRNESS FOR QUALIFIED PLATEAU INDIGENES AS NIGERIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT COMMENCES…JINGS

All Plateau state citizens that have applied and qualified for the 80th screening for trades/non trades and women recruits into the Nigerian Army have been advised to avail themselves at venue of the exercise beginning Monday, 23rd November 2020 at the Rukuba Barracks.

A statement by the Commissioner representing Plateau State on the Federal Character Commission,Stephen Jings said his office is in receipt of an invitation by authorities of the Nigerian Army as such they will be on the ground to ensure that Plateau indigenes are treated fairly and given equal opportunity to compete for the available slots meant for the state.

Jings said as a commission saddled with the responsibility of ensuring equitable distribution of available opportunities and resources it will be on ground through out the entire recruitment exercise in other to ensure the process is free and fair to every eligible Plateau indigene.

The statement therefore enjoins Plateau citizens who will be undergoing the screening to behave themselves showing the high sense of responsibility they are known for.

It also called of the female applicants who are qualified to join the menfolk in grasping this rare opportunity of joining the Nigerian Army and contribute their quota towards the development of the country.

Jings further called on Plateau indigenes that will be undergoing the screening to report any challenge they will encounter at the screening ground to staff of the Federal Character Commission on ground for smooth address together with the appropriate quarters during the entire screening exercise.
