Emmanuel Zopmal, the erstwhile aspirant for the Pankshin, Kanke, Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency Seat under the banner of the SDP during the 2019 election is scheduled to arrive Jos some time this morning/afternoon.

A parley with his friends, well-wishers and colleagues has been planned at De Kims Events Centre at Jiyep (Close to Mountains Green Hotel) at 1pm to celebrate his release and to pray for him.

Recalled that Emmanuel Zopmal was picked-up in the early hours of 6th July 2020 from his house by men of the Nigeria police in an unmarked Coaster Bus and whisked to Abuja on the instructions of Hon. Yusuf Gagdi, who lodged a charge that he was slighted by comments and posts that Hon. Emmanuel Zopmal was making on his person.

The issue between the duo has since been resolved and Hon. Emmanuel Zopmal has been released without charge.

Emmanuel Zopmal apologized for comments made and expressed immense thanks to Hon. Yusuf Gagdi for his magnanimity and the matter has been squashed.

In similar fashion, another social media commentator, Prince Mado Mado was yesterday detained in the Jos DSS office and and we will continue to monitor the evolving situation
