2020 EID-EL-KABIR MESSAGE FROM WASE EQUITY PROJECT

As the world observe this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, it is with a great deal of pleasure that we extend our warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah and to all Wase constituents.

We send special salutations and commendation to our leader the Deputy Speaker House of Representatives,His Excellency, Rt.Hon Ahmed Idris Wase for the great successes achieved so far.

This year’s celebrations offer us another opportunity to reflect soberly on the state of our world, our country and our beloved constituency so that we can whole-heartedly thank God for the trials we have faced and the triumphs we have received.

This year’s hajj rituals is different from what it used to be with the cities of Mecca and Medina as meeting point for millions of pilgrims due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is undeniable that the Almighty Allah is merciful and will hear the prayers of the faithful from everywhere.

We must remember at all times the real essence of the Eid-el-Kabir which is to recall and be challenged by the willingness, steadfastness, sacrifice, obedience and devotion to Allah as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

On this special occasion therefore, we appeal to all Wase constituents to come together against divisive tendencies and strengthen the bonds of friendship, love and unity in our great constituency

May Allah in His infinite mercy accept our ibadah and may He fill our lives, homes, families, businesses, communities and our dear constituency with His barakah. Ameen.
