In the spirit of Eid el-Kabir celebration, Prof. Dakas CJ Dakas a former Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Jos has conveyed his warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the Plateau and Nigeria at large.
The felicitation was contained in a Press Statement signed and made available to journalists in Jos by his media and Strategic Engagement Team.

Prof. Dakas urges all Muslims to imbibe the noble virtues of Prophet Mohammed (SWT) in order to establish closer connection between religious teachings and practice.

He further calls on Muslim worshippers not to forget the symbolic significance of the sacrifices of the Eid el kabir, noting that, “It is a moment of sober reflection and an opportunity to show love in all ramifications of life.”

He also said ”It is a sad commentary that this year’s celebration is marked by a global pandemic which is a defining issue of our time.” “Let us therefore never flag or fail in our commitment to working out ways and coming up with promising solutions, while adhering strictly to the Covid-19 health protocols.

While wishing them an epoch-making celebration, Prof. Dakas sues for peace and unity every step of the way.
