Leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Langtang South Local Government Council of Plateau state on Monday also dissociated themselves from what they termed a faceless meeting of the party held on Saturday 25th, July, 2020 at Josams Resort in Langtang .

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by Hon Nimchak Samson Rims, the APC Party Leader and Executive Chairman, Langtang South ,Hon Friday Binbong the APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Bitrus Binfak the APC LGA Secretary
,Hon.Nicholas D. Vongsing , Hon. Nandang Bako Stakeholder and Elders of the party and made available to newsmen in Jos .

The statement reads that “The attention of the Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (hereafter referred to as APC), APC Stakeholders and the APC Elders Forum of Langtang South Local Government of Plateau State has been drawn to an online publication by an online media outfit in it’s website; www.thestateofplateau.com purporting a meeting held on Saturday 25th, July, 2020 at Josams Resort, Miyam-Tarok of Langtang North where decision where taken after the meeting, a communique, allegedly signed by Baba Burkat Zhattau, was issued.

“We hereby dissociate ourselves from the said faceless meeting and the resolutions that the APC Langtang South is not aware of any meeting of such and has never attended any either and thus isn’t a party to any decision taken at the meeting.”

The statement further reads that “If such meeting had taken place, it doesn’t have the approval and blessings of the leader of the party in Langtang South Hon.Nimchak Samson Rims (Executive Chairman Langtang South).

We call on the leadership of the party in the State to also investigate those behind this evil act and bring them to order. We equally demand an immediate apology from those behind this publication.

The APC leadership in Langtang South further urge members of the public to disregard the said publication as it is not emanating from the right source and does not represent the true position of the APC in Langtang South Local Government Council .
