The Pastor of the Church of Christ in Nations kidnapped by Islamic State West Africa, Rev. Polycarp Zongo has been released.

Zongo was released on Friday evening through an undisclosed process, officials say.

The Pastor of COCIN Wild Life Park Jos is expected in Jos on Saturday morning.

He has however communicated with his wife to confirm his release, it was gathered.

Members of his Pastored Church and other well wishers are currently celebrating in the Church premises.
