The Logo of the revered youth organisation of Nigeria has a clear nexus with its maxim which remorselessly remains ; A VOICE FOR PROGRESS
The erstwhile slogan reflects the commitment of Nigerian youths under the aegis of National Youth Network of Nigeria (NYNN) to the multifaceted progress of the country in distinct spheres , the progress of the country captured in the outlines of this organisation is not restricted to the progress of the youth domain alone ,but the country as an entity which bears the progress of all its integral components
We seek to propagate the group team spirit of oneness which is our drive for a progressive country , slim wonders the Maxim reiterates that progress is with A VOICE .

LOGO

The logo in itself has important components integral to it that reflects the lofty ideals of the founding fathers of the organisation talking about the likes of Comrade Naankin Mathew Dafoum .

The Celtic symbol is laid at the center of the Logo held by the symbol of the youths which exemplifies the youths being inevitable elements in the progress of Nigeria .
The fist at the uppermost part of the logo signifies victory at last with its enumerable meanings there of .The grasses reflects the hope that Nigeria has with this caliber of youths .

A brief link with history therefore is needful of the symbols .

The fist is a symbol of Solidarity and support . It is also used to show Unity , strength and defiance or resistance . It has a historical link to a revered leader ,
Sometimes a fist raised in the air is simply a fist raised in the air, even when political figures use the gesture.

When South African civil rights activist Nelson Mandela was released from prison in 1990, he and his wife both raised a fist in triumph. After 27 years in jail, he had become a symbol of the struggle against apartheid in South Africa.

Some of these connotations include: life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love and creation-preservation-destruction to name but a few.
In the Philippines modules , the Sangguiniang Kabataan represents the youths .
The symbol of the youths shows a group of energetic youths jumping side by side each other in unison to propel the progress of the country .

The Symbol of grass incorporated on the logo is a defined commitment of the National youth Network of Nigeria to the economic progress in distinct spheres .
The green grass is not just an agricultural pointer but it stand to express the good things to come , which connotes the good yield expected of the future , it shows expansion in future time .
Uniquely kept is a link joining the the North and the south in form of a strand all link to the grass which is an indicator for the progress of Nigeria and the hope for a better future for the entire country .
