As part of his birthday celebration, Mr Sendi Zakaria a reporter with viewpoint Nigeria (V.P.N) and the convener of “feed the child Nigeria” initiative ( an NGO) took to the streets of Jos to share food and water to the joint security team enforcing the lockdown in Jos metropolis.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the sociology-economic lives of citizens globally, in Plateau State the Government imposes a lock-down from Monday to Wednesday, a directive enforce by the Vigilante of Nigeria, community police initiative of the IGP, Neighborhood watch, other sister non-governmental bodies and the Nigerian police/ related government Securities agency. however, Mr Zakaria Sendi decides that Government alone cannot take care of the responsibility of this personal hence his decision to take food to them as part of his Birthday celebration.

The personnel were excited with the initiative and pray for the celebrant. many when interviewed by VPN could not hide their joy as the appreciate the act, knowing fully that at least some citizens appreciate their little contribution in the fight against the Corona Virus.
