Students of Nigerian College of Accountancy fled on Tuesday as unknown gunmen attacked Kwall village of Bassa LGA of Plateau State, leaving two persons dead and five others seriously injured.

Information reaching the ViewPointNigeria news desk suggests that many houses were razed down and property worth millions destroyed.

According to the Secretary of the Irigwe Youths Movement, Mr. John Gana, the gunmen attacked the locality in the early hours and started shooting sporadically.

She called for calm, assuring residents that security operatives were working round the clock to arrest the perpetrators of the act.

When the Police Public Relations Officer of the State Command, DSP Abu Emmanuel was contacted, he confirmed that there was an attack on the community.

Abuh said the police commissioner, Adekunle Oladunjoye had deployed both mobile and conventional Police men to the community to restore law and order.
