The 5th Prestigious Edition of the Plateau Man of the Year Awards held on Sunday 16th February, 2020 at Crest Hotel Jos.

The annual event put together by COA Media seeks to identify, recognize and celebrate excellence in various fields of endeavors.

Principal Coordinating Executive of COA Media, Amb. Akhimien Cletus in his remark said the event is held annually to honour individuals, groups and institutions whose actions have greatly impacted the State positively in the year under review, helped in shaping their immediate society and continue to inspire Nationally.
He said the event seeks to uphold the independent charter of responsibility to preserve the socio-cultural integrity of the State and in view of the need to bring to reckon the various issues of critical relevance to the performance and progress of the State.

He said the Award Recipients were carefully endorsed through public nomination, votes and findings done by the panel of jury in the various categories.

He said the recipients have made irrefutable contributions to the success and development of the State.

He said the recognitions were for persons who have made significant impact in advancing Human Rights, Health, Justice, Peace, Stability, Entrepreneurship, Education, Good Governance, Politics, People Empowerment and the Eradication of poverty from the State.

Guest Speaker at the event was Amb. Victor Kuchili, Author and Lead Development Consultant CCN Group who spoke on the theme “power of consistency”
